Research interests include transitional care, patient engagement, and patient activation in the homeless population.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Roula Ghadban, RN, MSN<\/strong><\/strong>, is a PhD student at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing, Virginia, USA. Interests in community and public health, cancer, smoking cessation and underserved populations.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Hilda Haynes-Lewis, MS, ANP-BC, AOCNP<\/strong><\/strong> is a nurse practitioner in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York. In addition, she is pursuing a PhD\u00a0at the University of Utah, College of Nursing, Salt\u00a0Lake City, Utah, USA. Research interest area is the supportive care needs of older African Americans with advanced cancer who live in an urban area.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Sarah Llanque, RN, PhD,<\/strong><\/strong> is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the College of Nursing at the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Research interests include Native American elder health, Alzheimer&#8217;s caregiving, community-based participatory research methods, mixed methodology, gerontological nursing, and critical pedagogy.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Esther Narkie Okang,<\/strong><\/strong><strong> MS,<\/strong> is a student in the Department of Health Promotion and Education, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Interests include nutrition, eating disorders, body image, and underserved populations. \u00a0She completed a bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance with minor in International Development at Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, USA. She is currently Director of Outreach (SPEAK) at the University of Utah, and was recently elected Director of Finance for the Associated Students of the University of Utah, 2014-15.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Alison Fisher Pittman, RN, MSN, CPN<\/strong><\/strong> is an assistant professor of Nursing specializing in pediatrics at Texas A&amp;M Health Science Center in Bryan\/College Station, Texas, USA.\u00a0 She is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Brittney Tacy <\/strong><\/strong>is a PhD student in the Department of Health Promotion and Education at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Her interests are in nutrition, nutrition policies, obesity prevention, and adults with intellectual disabilities. She is the elected Research Director for SPEAK.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><strong><strong>John Rodriguez, RN, OCN, BMTCN, MA,<\/strong><\/strong> <strong><strong>MS<\/strong><\/strong>, currently works at the Huntsman Hematology\/Bone Marrow Transplant unit, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.\u00a0 He completed his Master of Science with a major in nursing and a Certificate in Informatics in May 2015.\u00a0 His final project was a collaborative teaching experience shepherding the e-book to completion with Professor Clark and the graduate students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following authors, presented in alphabetical order, contributed to the e-Book.
